Interns typically assist with creating visual content, such as logos, social media graphics, and marketing materials, while learning industry-standard tools and workflows. This opportunity helps interns build their portfolios, develop practical skills, and make valuable connections in the design industry.

What types of projects can a Graphic Design Summer intern expect to work on, and how are these typically structured within a team?

As a Graphic Design Summer intern, you will likely work on a variety of projects such as creating digital graphics for social media, assisting with branding materials, and supporting ongoing marketing campaigns. Projects are often structured collaboratively, with interns receiving guidance from senior designers and feedback from the marketing team. This environment provides valuable learning opportunities, exposure to real client briefs, and the chance to build a portfolio with professional work. You can also expect regular check-ins or critiques to help refine your skills and ensure alignment with the brand's visual identity.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Graphic Design Summer intern, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Graphic Design Summer Intern, you need a solid understanding of design principles, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and a portfolio demonstrating creative work. Familiarity with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and sometimes web design platforms is typically required.
