Description
Bryant & Stratton College is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Practical Nursing program. This person will provide administrative support to the Program Director, PN staff, and students in the program.
The candidate is responsible for providing service to co-workers, faculty, and students on campus.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Researching and analyzing statistical data.
  • Data entry.
  • Working closely with the Program Director to ensure student health requirements and faculty health, licensure, educational, and other requirements are current.
  • Maintain nursing student files, coursework, and grading information to ensure ongoing compliance with College, Board of Nursing, and accrediting body guidelines.
  • Assist with tracking, collecting, and compiling data for various reports.
  • Assist with all campus functions and events such as Student Orientations and Graduation.
  • Organize various departmental meetings to include the taking and maintaining of meeting minutes.
  • Organization and maintenance of binder materials.
  • Maintain program calendar, communicate events, and deadlines.
  • Planning and execution of Pinning ceremonies each term.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate's Degree or better preferred.
  • 2-4 years of previous office support and customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret statistical data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form with a diverse group of students and peers is required.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task utilizing time management skills is essential to this position.
  • The candidate must be available to work various hours, which could include occasional evenings and weekends. Peak registration periods will require additional availability.

Salary Range:
$40,000- $45,000 ($19.23-$21.63 hourly)
This position is eligible for overtime.

The selected candidate's actual base pay for this role will take into account a wide range of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
