Grants and Program Project Manager



Position Summary

NMILC is seeking aGrants and Program Project Managerto act as a bridge between administrative andprogramteams. This role involves managing program administration for complex federal and state grantsas well as philanthropic grants, coordinating grant activities across legal and social service programs, and ensuring that programobjectivesare met on time and within budget.


Key Responsibilities

Program Project Management:

  • Develop andexecuteprogramoperation plans forrestricted and unrestrictedphilanthropicfunding andmajor grants and contracts
  • Lead multiple projectssimultaneously, assigning roles, tracking progress, and ensuringtimelycompletion
  • Disseminate information, including through grant kick-off meetings and regularcross-departmental communication,regardingprogram deliverables, modifications, policies, and procedures
  • Managegrant documentationandfile storage across NMILC's technology infrastructure
  • Design improvements in NMILC's online case management database (LegalServer) and Case Management Manual
  • Implement grantadministrative requirements, includingtrainings,license renewals, personnel document updating,etc.
  • Trackprogramfeedback on grant matters, to inform future grant applications and renewals


Grant Compliance and Coordination:

  • Coordinatefundercommunicationsrelated to grant requirements and documentation
  • Coordinate site visits from funders, assigningroles andleadingpreparations
  • Preparegrantawardmodificationsincompliance with grant requirements, includingforpersonnel,programmatic,andproject periodchanges, as well asnarrativesfor budget modifications,and coordinatesubmissions
  • Prepare grant reports,either independently or collaborativelydepending on the funding source
  • Track and compileprogram datato supportinternal evaluation and funder reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of four years of relevant experience and education

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work requiring minimal review
  • Excellent writing, research, analytical, design, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office

Our Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Starting rate for the Grants and Program Project Manager position is $31.50/hour.
NMILC offers a phenomenal benefits package, which includes:
