POSITION PURPOSE


A Marble and Granite Installer cuts, tools, and sets marble slabs in floors and walls of buildings and repairs and polishes slab previously set in buildings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cut, surface, polish and installs marble and granite or install pre-cast terrazzo, granite, or marble units.
  • Mix, apply, and spread mortar to slabs.
  • Polish and finish all installations to customers standards.
  • Fill joints with grout and remove excess grout from marble with sponge.
  • Discuss any concerns with Foreman/Project Manager to ensure items get corrected.
  • Participates in daily huddles and practices safety as a priority on all job sites.
  • Models The Gallegos Corporation mission and values at all times.
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years of Marble & Granite experience.
