This is a Direct Hire opportunity

Your Role:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Develops production schedules in conjunction with Project Managers to obtain project schedules; Plans, directs, and assigns duties to ensure completion of all projects.
  • Communicates constantly with employees and Project Managers to ensure all parts are completed to the appropriate quality standards.
  • Create inventory schedules to ensure material and parts are in stock for jobs to be handed off for production.
  • Assist in shop organization.
  • Schedules and authorizes overtime as necessary to meet production schedule.
  • Coordinate and direct projects while making detailed plans to accomplish set goals.
  • Train, cross-train, discipline, evaluate, and resolve personnel grievances.
  • Complete performance evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates with material handler to ensure warehouse is properly organized and jobs are prepped.
  • Evaluate the production process to identify changes and implement processes that will increase shop productivity and efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Willingness to work in the trenches with your team when need be, must not be afraid to be a helping hand and lead our culture here by example.
  • Proven work experience in a supervisory role (3-5 years)
  • Experience preferred in granite/quartz manufacturing.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
  • Passion for safety and the commitment to upholding our belief in a safe and clean workplace
  • Good problem solver resilient when facing difficult situations and holds self and others accountable to meet commitments
  • High School Diploma
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends when necessary
  • Must have a valid MN driver’s license.
