Telemetry / Observability Engineer with Grafana Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in team planning sessions, suggesting improvements and bringing new ideas.
  • Cooperate closely with technical experts and various stakeholders across the organization.
  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of observability solutions and data flows.
  • Configure and manage data sources used for monitoring and reporting purposes.
  • Design and improve Grafana dashboards, including panels, rows, variables, templating, and transformations.
  • Participate in implementation work and troubleshoot technical issues within your area of responsibility.
  • Contribute to automation and provisioning practices using code-based approaches.
  • Ensure that dashboards and monitoring solutions are clear, reliable, and aligned with user needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in application development, engineering, observability, monitoring, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding of observability fundamentals, including metrics, logs, and traces.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
  • Experience with data source configuration from tools such as Prometheus, InfluxDB, or AppDynamics.
  • Hands‑on experience with Grafana and Grafana Alerting.
  • Experience in dashboard design, including panels, rows, variables/templating, and transformations.
  • Knowledge of provisioning as code / Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with Git/Bitbucket.
  • Scripting skills with Bash and/or Python.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication, or a related field.
