GONG! is a well-funded new mobile startup changing how we share and consume the web's most talked about news & stories. With our product launch quickly approaching, you will be joining a company that is quickly expanding. Our founders are experienced leaders in the startup space, managing over $1BB of P&L in private and publicly-listed companies, and building teams of over 2,000 people. Our CEO was even on the team that created World of Warcraft! 

Ideal Candidate:

Do you consider yourself to be a sports or pop culture junkie? Do you love to blog in your free time? Is writing your true passion? Then we want you! We are looking for fun and energetic interns to join our growing startup in our Tribeca loft. Perks include all the free Fresh Direct and espressos your stomach can handle, college credit (depending on your school's policies), and valuable startup experience with veteran mentors.


Tasks:

Source and create engaging, entertaining content for our communities

repurpose content in an engaging manner

Manage & curate content for multiple social media accounts to maximize engagement among our users and ensure timeliness of trending stories

Engage and interact with numerous topic specific online communities

Source and promote content and users that represent the best of the GONG! community


Work Schedule: 

Part-time with flexible hours. 


Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll have:
