Description:

ENCON Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer graduate to join our Commercial Sales team. This position is responsible for supporting the design, engineering, and execution of commercial HVAC projects while collaborating with project managers, field personnel, vendors, and customers.


This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial projects while developing expertise in system design, project execution, and customer relationships.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and support commercial HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, hydronic, and air distribution systems.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.
  • Perform HVAC load calculations, equipment selections, ductwork sizing, and piping design.
  • Assist in preparing project estimates, equipment selections, material takeoffs, and technical proposals.
  • Coordinate with project managers, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and review HVAC submittals, shop drawings, and engineering documentation.
  • Participate in job site visits to verify existing conditions, support construction activities, and provide technical guidance.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, procurement, and execution activities.
  • Support the change order and project closeout processes.
  • Stay current on industry standards, emerging technologies, energy efficiency initiatives, and HVAC best practices.
  • Maintain timely communication with internal and external customers, responding to inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and provide engineering solutions to project challenges as they arise.

Required Skills & Qualifications
