About Us

Federally designated as a senior military college, one of the university's signature leadership programs is its 800-member Corps of Cadets on UNG's Dahlonega Campus.
Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a graduate student who will support the Graduate Admissions Office as well as the Office of Graduate Studies. This position will include a tuition waiver.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in building out content for web landing pages and emails for Graduate Studies and Graduate Admissions with new content and graphics.
  • Assist Graduate Admissions staff with computer processes for graduate admissions and recruitment as needed.
  • Assist the Office of Graduate Studies and Graduate Admissions with data collection and reporting across graduate programs.
  • Assist graduate administration in updating and monitoring the graduate online orientation platform and run reports from the software.
  • Development of queries and surveys as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Project organization and management.
  • Skilled using Microsoft Word and Excel, Facebook, Canva, and Google Analytics preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the position and the programs.
  • Courteous, supportive and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to apply judgment and discretion in confidential matters.
  • Ability to work on a team or individually with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Must be enrolled as a graduate student at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.

Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year experience with customer service background preferred.
  • Previous experience in communications and marketing preferred.
