Provide Institute-level coordination and administration of the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) program in support of Institute policies and federal sponsor requirements. This position administers and manages RCR training operations, including communications, enrollment,
completion tracking, delivery, policy implementation, reporting accuracy, and compliance monitoring. The role serves as a central operational liaison among academic units, research administration, HR, IT, and leadership to support consistent, compliant, and efficient RCR processes across the Institute and to mitigate institutional compliance risk. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: RCR program management and staff of the Offices of Graduate Education, Registrar's, and Sponsored Programs. This position typically will advise and counsel: graduate and undergraduate students, postdocs, faculty, and staff. This position will supervise: NA.
Job Duty 1 -
Participate in the development, dissemination and administration of procedures, processes, and reports that support and track RCR training
for applicable students, faculty, and staff, including federally mandated training.
Job Duty 2 -
Maintain and improve RCR-related data, tracking, and reporting processes by applying data analysis, automation, and enterprise productivity tools.
Job Duty 3 -
Oversee and maintain the content of Georgia Tech's RCR website and other RCR related websites., including information on training requirements and opportunities, degree requirements, compliance guidance, and user-facing instructions.
Job Duty 4 -
Coordinate the administrative delivery of RCR courses, workshops, and events, including support of scheduling, registration, publicity, reminders,
enrollment management, assessment, and completion tracking and documentation.
Job Duty 5 -
Provide administrative support for RCR faculty training, including course review, dissemination, enrollment coordination, completion tracking, and
retraining procedures.
Job Duty 6 -
Respond to inquiries regarding RCR policy, procedures, training, degree requirements and compliance status; coordinate follow-up related to noncompliance and enforcement as appropriate.
Job Duty 7 -
Collaborate with IT and HRIS to support efficiency, accuracy, and long-term sustainability of RCR operations.
Job Duty 8 -
Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Two to three years of job-related experience
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in administration, Education, Ethics, Science or Engineering discipline.
