Overview
Graduate Trainees will work in a 2-Year professional development rotational program designed to gain experience in engineering, operations, estimating, project controls and other functional business disciplines. While in the program, Graduates are given the opportunity to obtain broad knowledge of CB&I's EPC business while developing the skills and abilities to succeed in a professional career. Upon completion of the program, graduates will demonstrate knowledge and leadership perspectives that will help them contribute to a diverse, successful, and growing organization.
Location The Woodlands, TX or Plainfield, IL.
Responsibilities
  • Learn and exemplify the company's core values and leadership competencies.
  • Requires temporary relocations to work at office, fabrication shop, or project locations for extended periods in both office and production environments while in the program.
  • Production conditions include, but are not limited to, working outdoors in extreme heat, cold, precipitation, dust, dirt, loud noise, and occasionally from height.
  • Office conditions include, but are not limited to, working in a standard office setting with office noise.
  • The role requires the employee to walk, stand, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, crouch, sit, reach, type, observe, listen, and speak.
  • Contribute to successful completion of department work products or progress on projects.
  • Demonstrate proactive ownership of assigned tasks; identify and solve other required actions to support completion of work or progress of assigned projects.
  • Demonstrate progressive knowledge of CB&I products and markets during in the program.
  • Able to relocate to an available permanent position with the Company after successful completion of the program.

Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Engineering discipline (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Welding) or Construction Management is required.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (Preferred).
  • Able to work in the United States and relocate to assigned locations.
  • Work history or internship experience in construction, engineering, or engineering design preferred.
