Position Summary
The Women's Basketball Graduate Assistant is responsible for duties including but not limited to assistance with travel plans, set up for games & practices, managing equipment, game and practice video, on-court duties, social media, community service, and organizing team events. The Women's Basketball Graduate Assistant reports to the Head Women's Basketball Coach.
Essential Functions
  • Work with women's basketball throughout the year.
  • Assisting in many roles relating to the development of the women's basketball program.
  • Travel with the team during the basketball season.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent oral, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and provide solutions.
  • Follow the mission of the university.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
  • Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.

Required Education
Current UIW Graduate student.
Required Work Experience
Prior basketball playing or managing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office and Photoshop desired.
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
None.
Work Hours
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift equipment, tools, and/or materials weighing up to 25 pounds waist high.
