Assistant Boys Basketball Coach

We are seeking two dedicated and experienced Assistant Basketball Coaches to join our Eaton High School Basketball program. As a key member of our coaching team, you will play a vital role in helping our student-athletes reach their full potential, both on and off the court. If you're passionate about Basketball and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young athletes, we want to hear from you!
Reports To: Athletic Director
Responsibilities:
-Coordinate the Basketball program at the High School level
-Develop and implement practice programs to promote individual and team development
-Instruct student-athletes on Basketball techniques, rules, and strategies
-Assess student-athlete skills and provide constructive feedback
-Maintain equipment, supplies, and uniforms, as directed by the Athletic Director
-Serve as a liaison between the Basketball program, staff, administration, and the public
-Support the planning and execution of practices and games
-Model sportsmanship behavior and maintain a high level of professionalism
-Administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and distributing eligibility forms
Qualifications:
-Experience as a Basketball participant or coach
-High School Diploma/GED
-CPR Certification
-CHSAA test and regulation
-Concussion Education
-Mental Health testing
-Mandatory Reporting
-Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach, Athletic Director, and other stakeholders
