Job description

FNF Construction, Inc. is a general contractor providing heavy civil construction services throughout the Southwestern United States. We are seeking a journeyman-level Trackhoe Operator with a minimum of 5 years in underground experience. A trackhoe operator is responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, grade, and prepare land for construction projects, requiring strong skills in equipment handling and safety protocols.  

  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Maneuver the trackhoe to perform tasks such as digging trenches, loading materials, and grading land.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and ensuring the area is safe for other workers.
  • Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the trackhoe to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking fluid levels and cleaning the equipment.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to handle the demands of operating heavy machinery and working in various weather conditions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and solve problems on the job.
