Job description

The Asset Management Specialist supports laboratory operations by managing equipment inventory, asset tracking, and calibration logistics. This hands-on role ensures laboratory assets are accurately identified, tracked, maintained, and available for use.

Responsibilities

  • Apply asset identification and GPS tracking tags to equipment.
  • Verify equipment serial numbers, manufacturers, and model information.
  • Update and maintain asset records, locations, ownership, and status in tracking systems.
  • Assist with inventory audits and equipment location verification.
  • Coordinate calibration activities, including equipment shipment, receipt, and record updates.
  • Prepare and stage equipment for pickup and return calibrated equipment to designated locations.
  • Support general laboratory operations related to asset management and inventory control.

Requirements

  • Experience in asset management software, inventory, logistics, or technical environment.
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment is preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management or asset tracking systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
