Job description

  • Develop, write, and edit comprehensive engineering specifications, user manuals, reports, briefings, presentations, guidelines, and other project deliverables to meet contract requirements
  • Gather and interpret complex technical information for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Create and edit Air Force Technical Orders, Time Compliance Technical Orders, Contractor Furnished Equipment Notices, and other documentation in compliance with contract or project requirements
  • Ensure proper application of applicable government standards including MIL-STD-38784, MIL-DTL-38807, MIL-DTL-38804, MIL-PRF-32216, and other relevant guidelines to all documents
  • Review technical documentation created by peers to ensure all information is incorporated correctly and all standards are followed
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2+ years’ experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Familiarity with TO 00-5-1, TO 00-5-3, and TO 00-5-15
  • Experience using PDF editing software such as Adobe Acrobat Pro or PDF-Xchange
  • Experience with document processing software, including Adobe FrameMaker
