As a Project Engineer, you will have
the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Lead capital engineering projects that support Growth, Cost Reduction, EHS improvement, and Equipment/Facility Renewal.
  • You will lead teams including electrical, facilities, design, technical experts, and operations to deliver project expectations.
  • You will utilize project engineering fundamentals (scope, budget, schedule, forecasting, communication, financial analysis) to deliver the best outcome for 3M.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree/Technical Diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institute and five (5) years of
    combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management in a private, public, government or military environment
    OR
  • Bachelor's or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and three (3) years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering
  • Five (5) year of combined experience in Capital equipment and/or Facilities project management in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Prior experience with webline, extrusion, material handling, or inspection equipment
  • Team player with the ability to contribute in a matrix environment
  • Proficient user of typical business, office, and technical software for tasks such as spreadsheet computation and/or project presentation/scheduling

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/International
