Experience supporting public-sector, regulated, or compliance-heavy programs (or equivalent experience in complex multi-team environments). - Required - 7 Years

Description:

The client is seeking a contract Senior Salesforce Solution Designing Expert to design and deliver end‑to‑end solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud. This role supports mission‑critical public‑sector programs across Early Education Information System (EEIS) Regulatory licensing, service operations, Provider Compliance, and Registry related programs such as WORKS, NC Pre-K, Early Education Support, Training and Professional Development. The position ensures all solutions align with program objectives, technical standards, security requirements, and long‑term platform strategy while leveraging both declarative and programmatic capabilities to build scalable, maintainable systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and engineering: Lead integration designs, blueprinting and configuration strategies, Architecting Low Code Solutions, designing highly scalable and reusable application components, business process optimization, Human centered design and lightning experience best practices.

Coordination and communication: Collaborate with vendors, product owners, administrators, QA teams, and business stakeholders to plan and execute required updates and deliverables.

Discovery and requirements: Lead technical discovery sessions with product owners and program stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate solution options, and recommend best‑fit approaches.

Technical leadership: Establish development standards, mentor junior developers, conduct peer code reviews, and promote consistent high standards across teams.

Release management readiness: Review Salesforce Spring, Summer, and Winter release notes to identify breaking changes, deprecations, new settings, and feature impacts. Assess platform updates affect existing systems and integrations.

AI-enablement: Apply AI‑driven approaches to enhance Salesforce solutions, including identifying practical use cases, incorporating intelligent automation, and ensuring responsible and compliant use of emerging technologies.
