Job description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer (also open to CRM Developers, Apex Developers, or Lightning Application Developers) to design, customize, and support enterprise Salesforce solutions. This role focuses on custom programmatic development, process automation, and system integration.

  • Location: Raleigh, NC (Local candidates only)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid
  • Interview Mode: Webcam or In-Person

Key Responsibilities

  • Custom Development: Design and build custom scalable applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Automation & Configuration: Configure complex Flows, validation rules, approval processes, and custom objects to automate business logic.
  • System Integration: Develop and maintain secure integrations between Salesforce and external downstream enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
  • Environment Security: Implement platform security architecture, including role hierarchies, profiles, permission sets, and custom sharing models.
  • Release Management: Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and handle deployment/release management tasks using CI/CD methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must bring a strong blend of custom programmatic coding and Salesforce configuration skills:

  • Programmatic Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience writing Apex classes/triggers and developing front-end components using Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Platform Configuration: Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Flow, process automation tools, page layouts, and custom dashboard reporting.
  • API Integration: Direct experience building and maintaining data integration layers using web services and APIs.
  • Data Security & Governance: Solid understanding of data protection strategies, data migration patterns, and platform sharing mechanisms.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills to translate requirements into technical specifications.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

  • Public Sector / Government Experience (Required)
  • Active Salesforce Platform Developer I (PDI) and/or Platform Developer II (PDII) certifications.
  • Hands-on experience with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Government Cloud.
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft, enterprise integration patterns, and deployment pipelines.
