We are seeking an entry-level Project Coordinator with a client relationship focus to join our growing team. Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator - Client Relationship will support the project management team by facilitating client communication, project coordination, and administrative support for government contracts. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to handling client inquiries and project logistics. The ideal candidate is coachable, highly organized, and eager to grow in the contracting industry while ensuring exceptional client service and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular updates and follow-ups.
• Address client concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
• Assist in client meetings, proposal presentations, and contract discussions.
Project Coordination and Support:
• Support the project management team by tracking deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate subcontractor and vendor communications to ensure project efficiency.
• Assist in project documentation, including contracts, compliance reports, and financial records.
• Ensure timely submission of invoices, permits, and regulatory paperwork.
Compliance and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate project records, contracts, and correspondence in compliance with government regulations.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, OSHA safety standards, and company policies.
• Assist in preparing reports for government agencies and senior management.
Administrative and Operational Support:
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, site visits, and follow-ups with clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in procurement, invoice tracking, and contract administration.
• Monitor project progress and provide status updates to internal teams and clients.
• Support proposal writing and bid preparation for government contracts.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Experience or familiarity with government contracts and regulations is a plus.
• Veteran candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Skills & Attributes:
• Eager to learn and highly coachable with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
