Job description

The Contractor shall assign a Project Director as part of the working team.
Commitment:
  • The Project Director shall dedicate a minimum of 20 hours per week for the first 12 weeks following the State's Notice to Proceed.
  • After the initial 12-week period, the Project Director shall transition to full-time dedication to the project.
  • It is highly desirable that the Project Director be fully dedicated for the entire contract duration.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary leadership-level point of contact for all system-related needs.
  • Ensure full compliance and fulfillment of all contractual requirements.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to the project team in coordination with the Account Manager.
  • Work closely with the State agency contract liaison throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Conduct annual evaluations/check-ins with key State stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Must hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in large-scale project implementations, including vendor transitions.
  • Must demonstrate experience in:
    • Project planning and execution
    • Risk and opportunity assessment
    • Stakeholder communication
    • Client engagement
  • Should have experience in:
    • Cannabis, marijuana, and/or FDA-regulated industries
    • State government contracting
  • Must have extensive experience in IT project/account management.
