Job description

Sigma Defense is seeking a Government Program Acquisition Analyst to provide comprehensive programmatic, analytical, and technical acquisition support across the full lifecycle of U.S. Navy Above Water Sensors and Lasers programs. This role supports cradle-to-grave program management activities, including Pre-Systems Acquisition, Engineering & Manufacturing Development, Production, and Sustainment phases. The analyst works closely with Government Program Managers, Deputy PMs, PAPMs, Technical Directors, and integrated teams to support planning, coordination, data analysis, acquisition documentation, milestone readiness, contracting support, and reporting aligned to NAVSEA, DoW 5000 series, JCIDS, and applicable acquisition frameworks.

This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and possess one of the following:
    • A) a high school degree, or a GED, and 20 years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser acquisition or program analysis experience, OR
    • B) a bachelor's degree and 15 years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser acquisition or program analysis experience, OR
    • C) a master's degree and 10 years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser acquisition or program analysis experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Navy/DoW policy and guidance.
  • Acquisition Strategy/Acquisition Plan development and review experience.
  • Milestone and Gate preparation experience.
  • Procurement Request review experience.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 annually.
