The ideal candidate will manage and track program schedules, budgets, and deliverables; coordinate internal efforts and external communication and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Job Functions and Responsibilities • Assist the program with managing full lifecycle of technical programs: scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, and risk • Develop, maintain, and monitor program schedules, budgets, and resource tracking tools • Track program deliverables and ensuring timely submission in accordance with contract requirements • Maintain and improve programmatic processes and tools (documentation templates, tracking mechanisms) • Support proposal development, including technical approach, planning, and cost estimation • Coordinate preparations of presentation material and briefing packages for customer meetings and key engineering events • Manage and distribute meeting minutes and action items to internal and external stakeholders; follow up to ensure timely closure • Help facilitate team communication and documentation cross program areas, including integration of reports, logs, and records Required Skills and Attributes • Bachelor’s degree or higher • 2–5 years of professional experience supporting program or project management in a technical or R&D environment • Excellent verbal and written communication to accurately document and report findings to colleagues, customer, vendors, etc. • Exceptional organization skills, note taking, and following up on actions • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and government contracting • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint • Experience working in a multidisciplinary engineering environment • Ability to work proactively and adapt in a cross functional, fast paced environment Preferred Skills and Attributes • Prior experience working in technical programs • Prior experience supporting or managing DoD or acquisition programs • DAWIA Certification • PMP or equivalent program management certification • Experience in technical writing, system documentation & supporting new business proposals/bids • Familiarity with engineering development, lifecycles and documentation standards • Understanding of integration verification and test planning processes • Ability to manage multiple tasks and balance shifting priorities • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and organize daily schedules • Experience in Dynamic 365 PSA or PO Location: Pawcatuck, CT or Groton, CT full relocation provided.
