The Department of Health, Division of Senior and Disabilities Services, is recruiting for an experienced and self-motivated program manager to join the SDS Grants Unit team.
What You Will Be Doing:In this position, you will be responsible for the full scope of statewide program planning, administration, development, management, implementation, and evaluation of grant-funded services for Alaska's seniors and individuals experiencing a disability. This will include managing multiple grant programs with varying requirements and structures.
Additionally, in this postion you will also:
  • partner closely with grantees and community-based agencies to ensure effective program implementation and use of grant funds, providing technical assistance and developing training materials;
  • work collaboratively with State and community partners;
  • manage a variety of service delivery programs, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of these services.

Frequent travel within the state of Alaska is required in this position.
