Job description
- Interface with customers to plan and forecast materials to meet multiple production schedules.
- Oversee purchasing, sourcing, and supply chain activities to support job site activities.
- Handle and maintain the flow of materials in warehouses according to established standards.
- Verify materials received against shipment records, inspect, and report discrepancies and defects.
- Ensure compliance with standard practices and procedures in all material and facility functions.
- Track equipment inductions and turn-ins.
- Respond to internal and external data calls independently and within short turnarounds.
- Manage and maintain deliverables and communications both internally and with external stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in Material Movement, Supply and Provisioning, and Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation.
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment (e.g., forklift, hand truck, overhead crane) preferred.
- Proven ability to complete Government shipping/receiving documentation (e.g., 1149's, 1348's).
- Demonstrated ability to track materials in databases such as Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Integrated Product Data Management (iPDM), or similar tools.
- Valid state driver's license required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to work effectively with clients, team members, and management staff, including DoD civilian, uniformed military, and contractor personnel.
- Flexibility to cope with dynamic, high-pressure environments and rapidly changing deadlines and priorities.
- Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
