## Cybersecurity EngineerApplyremote type: Hybridlocations: USA - Plano HQtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: JR100235# Description**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES*** Triage, analyze, and investigate security alerts triggered from various security technologies including SIEM, EDR, DLP, and others.* Analyze and report on potential vulnerabilities identified by scanning tools and provide context for remediation.* Participate in the IR process by collecting and analyzing evidence from endpoints, servers, and network infrastructure.* Assist with deployment, operation, and maintenance of various security technologies including SIEM, EDR, DLP, and others.* Create and manage internal phishing assessments to promote security awareness and educate Trintech employees on common email-based security threats.* Serve as a secondary point of contact with Trintechโ€™s security service providers and vendors.* Contribute to the Security Operations KB library by documenting existing processes and workflows.* Participate and support Information Security Roadmap planning.* Collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC) to identify and implement tuning opportunities for security alert use-cases.* Respond to ad-hoc security related questions and concerns from other Trintech employees as necessary.* Communicate with other departments to assist in the completion of customer RFPs and security questionnaires.* Server as the lead facilitator of Trintechโ€™s Information Security Internship program.**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES*** Ability to accurately assess and triage potential security threats.* Advanced knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management etc.* Foundational knowledge of various operating system flavors including Windows, Linux, Unix, and MacOS.* Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications.* Foundational knowledge of common Internet protocols and applications* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage interruptions, and communicate effectively throughout the process.* Advanced interpersonal skills to effectively promote ideas, collaborate across teams, and influence stakeholders.* Capable of articulating cybersecurity policies, processes, and technical controls.* Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the desire to contribute to the success of a diverse and effective team.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Masterโ€™s Degree in an information technology field; preferably cybersecurity or information assurance.* 2-4 years of combined information security, risk management, compliance, or audit work experience.* Industry Certifications such as but not limited to: SEC+, CYSA+, GSEC, GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, or CISSP.* Results-oriented, with demonstrated problem-solving abilities.* Previous experience in a SaaS environment preferred.**What We Offer*** Open paid time off* Hybrid schedule* Comprehensive healthcare and wellness programs* 100% company-paid volunteer time* 401k with a company match* Pet Insurance* Tuition/Continuing Education reimbursement programAt our core, Trintechers stand committed to fostering a culture rooted in our core values โ€“ Humble, Empowered, Reliable, and Open.
