AMG Healthcare Services, Inc. is a staffing agency that specializes in placing healthcare professionals in government and non-gov positions throughout the nation for over 15 years.
We're currently seeking full-time General Dentists to provide services at one of Portsmouth Naval Station facilities, with the main Portsmouth base is located at: 1647 Admiral Taussig Blvd, Norfolk, VA 2351. Additional position details provided below:
POSITION DETAILS:

    1. Portsmouth-Norfolk: 1647 Admiral Taussig Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23511.
    2. Portsmouth-Boone: 1035 Nider Blvd., Suite 100 Virginia Beach, VA 23459
    3. Portsmouth-Oceana: 1550 Tomcat Blvd., Suite 150 Virginia Beach, VA 23460

  • SCHEDULE: Mon - Thu: 8hrs shifts between 6:00am - 6:00pm (+ 30 min lunch break) & Fridays from 6:00am - 1:00pm (no lunch break)
  • BENEFITS: 11 Paid Holiday Off Days + 10 PTO Days + 56 Hrs of Sick Leave
  • PAY PACKAGES:
    • OPTION #1 (W-2): $75.00/hr + Full Benefits + AMG Insurance Coverage
    • OPTION #2 (1099): $90.00/hr NO AMG COVERAGE + NO BENEFITS
DENTIST JOB REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED ITEMS
  • UPDATED RESUME: Must have at least 1yr of relevant recent work exp (Some candidates may require 3+ yrs)
  • DMD/DDS DEGREE: Must provide diploma showing successful curriculum/program completion of DMD or DDS degree
  • EDU REQ: Must be graduate of accredited dental school approved by CODA or ADA
  • WORK EXP REQ: 1+ yrs of full-time Dentist work exp POST graduate/residency program
  • BLS CERT: Must provide a non-expired Basic Life Support cert (Issued by AHA or ARC only)
  • BOARD ELIGIBILITY: Must be board eligible. Active board certification highly preferred
