Dates: August 10, 2026 - November 27, 2026
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Location: Providence, RI 02903 (Onsite) | Department will pay for garage parking
Pay Range: $27.50/hour
Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Executive Assistant to provide critical administrative support to 2 executives within the Office of the Dean. This role will serve as a trusted partner, managing complex schedules, supporting executive communications, coordinating meetings and travel, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day administrative activities.
The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage calendars, schedules, and executive time management.
  • Draft, edit, and manage professional correspondence, including emails, letters, and other communications.
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for (high level and large) meetings, presentations, and events
  • Assist with event set up and clean up.
  • Arrange and manage travel logistics and itineraries.
  • Maintain filing and front desk receptionist duties.
  • Other ad hoc support as needed.

  • Will be supporting all levels of "customers" from students to executive levels, government officials, etc.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of executive assistant, administrative support, or office management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting executives.
  • Strong calendar management and scheduling experience.
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience drafting professional correspondence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize competing deadlines.

  • Experience coordinating executive meetings and preparing meeting materials.
