Job description

Impact
Shipt is seeking an Engineer for our Enterprise Tools & AI Enablement team to own our organization's digital nervous system. You will lead the lifecycle management of our critical SaaS ecosystem-including Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365-ensuring top-tier reliability, security, and performance. You will also drive enterprise-wide AI adoption by stress-testing and deploying features like Slack AI and Google Gemini, building automated release pipelines to streamline operations and enforce strict data governance.
Success in this role requires bridging the gap between vendor innovation and internal needs by translating technical roadmaps into strategic long-term plans. You will manage complex, cross-functional projects from inception to delivery, partner with security and engineering teams to replace redundant tooling, and serve as a tier-3 escalation point. Your expertise in automation will be essential in mitigating workplace friction while maintaining high platform reliability.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
  • At least 4 years in software or systems engineering, specifically designing and maintaining scalable SaaS architectures (e.g., Google Workspace, M365, Slack, Zoom, Zapier).
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, AI integration, Agile methodologies, SaaSops, Release Management, RBAC, and Enterprise Tooling Administration.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience

Pay Range: $70,000 - $115,000
