Purpose or role of this position at Morehouse
The Student Worker will provide administrative and operational support to the Office of Records and Registration at Morehouse College. This position is designed to offer students valuable work experience in a professional setting while supporting the daily functions of the college. Tasks may include clerical duties, customer service, data entry, and special projects as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors in person, by phone, or via email
  • Perform general office duties, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and organizing materials
  • Enter data accurately into spreadsheets or college systems
  • Monitor, respond and close and tickets in Zendesk
  • Assist with event setup, promotion, or coordination as needed
  • Run on-campus errands and deliver documents between departments
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Adhere to confidentiality policies when handling student or college information
  • Support special projects or initiatives as assigned by the department staff
