 Overview
TripleLift is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Trading Specialist to support the activation and ongoing success of our advertiser partners. As part of our Demand team, you'll serve as the primary technical operational contact for clients, ensuring campaigns are set up correctly, tags are QAd, performance is monitored, and issues are resolved quickly.

This role is client-facing, requiring a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strong communication. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with advertisers, agencies, and trading desks to troubleshoot issues, validate campaign details, and deliver seamless activations that drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts, building strong relationships with their operational & technical teams.
  • Provide consultative activation support for advertiser and agency partners for all TripleLift formats across all integrated DSPs. 
  • Monitor campaigns to ensure successful performance, delivery and pacing; proactively flag risks or opportunities for optimization & upsells.
  • Ownership of end-to-end troubleshooting from campaign and creative setup, discrepancy resolution, and exchange-level technical issues. 
  • Is the first line of support for technical, operational, and product-related client questions.
  • Internally partner with product & engineering teams to provide feedback on tooling as well as resolve product gaps and issues.
  • Be the technical & operational stakeholder on presentations with clients, is comfortable presenting and speaking to data, technical and functionality related questions from advertisers. 
  • Become a TripleLift expert who can consult and educate clients on TripleLift's products and external facing tools, inclusive of providing tooling demos, new product updates and best practices. 
  • Utilize Excel, Google Sheets and other advanced analytics tools, such as Omni to analyze large sets of data and create actionable insights.
  • Build custom dashboards and proactively monitor data to identify liquidity blockers or campaign issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ad operations, campaign management, or programmatic trading (SSP, DSP, Exchange, or agency-side).
  • Previous experience in various DSPs required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot delivery and technical issues.
  • Strong time management skills, able to meet deadlines and prioritize as needed.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with trafficking, QA, or reporting tools a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills; able to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with the programmatic ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, tracking solutions).
  • Basic SQL knowledge or willingness to learn SQL is highly preferred.
  • Highly organized and process-driven with a bias toward execution and accountability.
