What is a Google Tag?

Google Tag Manager (GTM) is a free tool from Google that allows you to manage and deploy marketing tags (snippets of code or tracking pixels) on your website or mobile app without having to modify the code directly. With GTM, you can quickly and easily add or update Google Analytics, AdWords conversion tracking, and other third-party tags from a web-based user interface. This simplifies the process for marketers and developers, enabling faster implementation and reducing the risk of errors in the site's code.
