Job description

E-Logic Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Google Workspace Administrator to support the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM). This role serves as the primary Subject Matter Expert for the Museum's Google Workspace environment, responsible for comprehensive administration, governance, security, and optimization. You will work closely with the Museum's IT leadership and a team of system administrators to ensure the platform meets stringent federal compliance requirements, including NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP Moderate.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Administration & Account Management
  • Serve as the primary administrator for all Google Workspace domains and services.
  • Manage user accounts, groups, organizational units, and role-based access controls.
  • Oversee licensing, subscriptions, and cost management for 900+ users.
  • Implement and maintain identity lifecycle processes including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding (integrated with Okta).
Core Service Management
  • Manage and optimize Gmail, Google Drive (23.5 TB+), Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms.
  • Administer Google Meet, Chat, Calendar, and resource scheduling.
  • Manage and optimize Google Gemini and NotebookLM for internal Museum use.
Security & Access Controls
  • Implement and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) with mandatory enforcement for privileged accounts.
  • Configure and maintain identity federation and Single Sign-On (SSO) via Okta.
  • Enforce security policies including password standards, session controls, and device trust.
  • Manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) in coordination with a third-party CASB.
  • Monitor security alerts and respond to threats such as phishing, account compromise, or unauthorized access.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure the Google Workspace environment aligns with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP Moderate requirements.
  • Support audits, assessments, and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities by maintaining accurate documentation and evidence of security controls.
Operations, Maintenance & Optimization
  • Perform routine system health checks and configuration reviews.
  • Manage updates to policies, features, and administrative settings.
  • Lead strategic planning for Google Workspace adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical training, documentation, and guidance to the Museum's existing Google administrators.
Required Qualifications
  • Google Workspace Administrator Professional certification (current and in good standing).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
  • Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect.
Experience Requirements
  • Proven experience administering Google Workspace in a large enterprise (900+ users) or federal/federal-adjacent environment.
  • Strong understanding of identity management, MFA implementation, and zero-trust principles.
  • Hands-on experience supporting environments aligned with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP requirements.
  • Experience with Okta for identity federation, third-party CASB for DLP, and ServiceNow for ITSM is highly desirable.
Position Details
  • Onsite Requirement: Hybrid - 5 days onsite at the USHMM facility in Washington, D.C., over a two-week period.
  • After-Hours Support: Required for critical outages/incidents. Compensatory time off will be provided for any after-hours work.
  • Security Process: Must successfully complete a Suitability Determination and FBI Fingerprint Criminal Background Check (Public Trust level with financial background check). This process takes approximately two weeks.
