Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and execution of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or other marketing programs.
  • 5 years of experience defining operational strategies and developing workflows for a global team.
  • 5 years of experience scaling programs from inception to globally.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience managing a small to medium sized team.
  • Experience working with various digital marketing channels in an e-commerce, gaming, loyalty programs, or digital content business.
  • Experience using a data-driven approach to report on workstreams and measure business impact.

As the Manager of the Google Play Go-To-Market Operations team, you will drive operational strategy and workflow execution navigating ambiguity to untangle problems and design scalable approaches for nascent and existing Global programs.
In this role, you will be an expert influencer, bridging the gap between technical and business domains by translating concepts for cross-functional partners to drive alignment. As the manager for the Campaign Operations team, you must be well-versed in existing solutions, emerging capabilities and business needs, advocating for the best scenario to scale or activate programs, navigate cross-functional stakeholder environment while ensuring transparency and alignment across initiatives. You will collaborate closely with GTM and tooling teams to ensure Play's programs grow effectively and sustainably, taking a data driven approach to drive impact.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$312,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Lead the Google Play Operations team for Offers, CRM, and marketing programs, partnering with cross-functional product and engineering teams to execute go-to-market plans and manage key launches.
  • Drive business and user engagement by leading scaled, repeatable campaign activations using unique promotional mechanics that enhance the developer ecosystem.
  • Sustain global program maintenance while supporting new capability experimentation and feature explorations to balance scale with innovation.
  • Direct a dual-region team, encompassing a scaled vendor operation in India and a US-based operations group, to align resources with business needs and lead effectiveness-driven special projects.
  • Enhance organizational efficiency using a data-driven approach to identify, recommend, and implement improvements for tooling, processes, and team velocity.
