Job Description

Brave Health is seeking a reliable and highly organized Part-Time Office Assistant to support day-to-day administrative operations in our Miami office. This is an ongoing, fully in-person role averaging 15 hours per week.

This position plays an important role in supporting our leadership and operational teams, with a strong focus on handling incoming physical mail, scanning and securely distributing documents to internal teams across the U.S., maintaining organized records, and supporting general office administration as needed.

Because this role involves handling confidential and sensitive information, strong attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion are essential. The ideal candidate is computer savvy, comfortable learning new systems, and understands the importance of accuracy and information security in a healthcare environment.

The schedule is anticipated to be approximately 3 hours per day, Mondayโ€“Friday (15 hours weekly), with some flexibility within standard business hours of 9:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM ET. This role is fully on-site in our Miami, FL office near downtown.

Hourly Pay Rate: $16.00-$18.00 per hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to Brave Health leadership and internal teams

  • Sort and process incoming physical mail and paperwork

  • Scan and securely distribute mail and documents to appropriate internal departments and team members

  • Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential records

  • Properly handle and securely dispose of sensitive documents through shredding and related processes

  • Coordinate meetings, scheduling, calendar support, and reminders as needed

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams using Google Workspace, Vonage, email, and additional software platforms

  • Support additional office and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage responsibilities independently

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong computer proficiency, including familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.)

  • Comfortable learning and using messaging and communication platforms such as Vonage or similar systems

  • Previous administrative, office support, or clerical experience preferred

  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive information preferred

  • Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and discretion when working with private information and documents

  • Must be located in Miami, FL and able to work on-site from our physical office space

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • This role is fully on-site and requires all work to be completed from the office

  • Company equipment, systems, messaging platforms, and email may only be accessed while working in the office and may not be accessed remotely from home
