MegazoneCloud is seeking a Cloud Tech Project Manager - Associate to support and coordinate cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives across North America. This role provides an opportunity to grow into a fully independent project manager while contributing to project planning, execution, and delivery in partnership with clients, internal technical teams, and global stakeholders.
The ideal candidate brings foundational project management experience, strong coordination skills, and a desire to develop deeper cloud and technical program expertise.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support planning and execution of cloud projects or defined workstreams within larger programs.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Asana, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
  • Coordinate meetings, document decisions, track action items, and facilitate clear communication across onshore/offshore teams.
  • Prepare project updates, track risks and issues, and assist in producing management-level reports and presentations.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into structured tasks for delivery teams.
  • Monitor progress, identify blockers, and escalate concerns as needed to senior project managers or technical leads.
  • Apply basic cloud delivery concepts (Lift & Shift, Re-platforming, Refactoring) under guidance.

Basic Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in IT project coordination, cloud project delivery, or technical program support.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and cross-team communication.
  • Experience working with project management frameworks and supporting medium-scale initiatives.
  • Foundational understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud delivery methodologies.
  • At least one entry-level cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, Azure Administrator - Associate, or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer) or willingness to obtain within 3-6 months.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and Hybrid/Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as MS Office/Google Workspace, JIRA, Confluence, Asana/Trello, Smartsheet, Miro/Figma, Slack/Teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with internal teams and customers.
  • General awareness of IT/cloud compliance and security standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Practical exposure to cloud environments or cloud-related projects.
  • Project management certifications (CAPM, PMP, Agile, or equivalent).
  • Scrum/Agile certifications (CSM/PSM, CSPO/PSPO) or experience in scaled Agile environments (SAFe).
  • Associate or Professional-level cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of networking, security fundamentals, and system administration (Windows/Linux).
  • Experience working in multi-regional, cross-cultural teams.
Why You'll Love It Here
  • Our Product is Our People: We live by this. We invest in people who invest in themselves. Your growth is our growth.
  • True Servant Leadership: Our CTO leads with a "force multiplier" philosophy. Management is here to empower you and clear roadblocks, not to micromanage. We won't ask you to do anything we're not willing to do ourselves.
  • Flat Organization, Real Impact: Your voice and designs will directly shape our technical roadmap and our clients' success. You'll work on the latest tech to solve real problems.
  • A "Learn-from-it" Culture: We're moving fast and building new things. We believe mistakes are learning opportunities, not failures.

We seek diverse talent who are ready to make an immediate impact. We believe that innovation thrives when teams are built with a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. If you are excited by this mission, we encourage you to apply, even if your experience doesn't perfectly match every qualification listed.
