Job description

What this Job Entails:

The Project & Program Management II role is an on-site role responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of data center projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation, upgrades and deployment. The role coordinates all implementation processes including asset management, resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Projects may vary in number, size and complexity.

**This role is on site 5 days a week M-F**

Your Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate & schedule workforce for multiple vendors and multiple buildings, ensuring crews are deployed efficiently and site access/logistics are aligned.

  • Own daily production reports, completion rates and progress against project milestones.

  • Perform on-site inspections of completed work, document deficiencies or non-conformances, and drive resolution with vendor teams to uphold project standards.

  • Serve as primary liaison with vendor POCs, lead daily coordination calls and escalate blockers.

  • Ensure alignment between the client and vendors.

  • Validate vendor invoices against completed/inspected work.

  • Maintain accurate records and support closeout documentation as builds are complete.

  • Maintain and monitor project plans and project schedules.

  • Gather and maintain project requirement lists.

  • Schedule and coordinate project reviews and follow up on assigned actions.

  • Effectively and accurately communicate status to the project team, including action items.

  • Assist with identifying project issues and mitigate and escalate as needed.

  • Take part in organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.

  • Collaborate with various regional teams responsible for project resources and ticket resolution.

  • Assist with daily monitoring of ticketing systems, reassign tickets when required.

  • Assist with identifying trends or recurring problems and escalate appropriately.

  • Assist with locating and defining new process improvement opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills and keep up-to-date with new processes and procedures.

  • Work closely with SDMs/Project Managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including assisting with identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and delivering actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Builds productive internal and external working relationships

  • Understanding of project management teams, resolving conflict, and meeting schedule timelines

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments concurrently

  • Self-starter who is able to quickly learn new tools and gain familiarity with new processes and technologies with minimal assistance

  • Experience creating spreadsheets, presentation material, and project/process documentation

  • Strong observational and analytical skills, including: ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information, strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to track and report metrics, and manage risks

  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate project updates to client executives.

  • Experience working with the Google Suite

  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Previous experience with ticketing systems and/or project management system

  • Understanding of or previous experience in a technology driven environment

  • Proactive attitude and dependable

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to work both within a team and independently

Salary Range

$66,120.00 - $104,400.00 USD (Salary)
  • Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
  • Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position. Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
