Resource Case Manager (Lydia House)
Join the Open Door Mission's team of dedicated staff who are committed to full-time Christian ministry and breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty!
ABOUT THIS POSITION
This position manages a caseload of emergency services guests. They work to make sure each guest can meet their basic needs such as housing, identification, and childcare, connecting guests to community organizations and partners as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
A full job description will be provided for review during the interview process.
  • Provide case management services to Lydia House emergency services guests.
  • Maintain excellent documentation regarding caseload.
  • Develop and enhance job related relationships with individuals and agencies.
  • Connect guests to applicable agencies and programs according to their specific circumstances and needs.
  • Set goals with guests and hold them accountable to working toward them.
  • Provide emergency crisis counseling, problem solving, and de-escalation when necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Relevant Education in the human services or related field.
  • Must be a team player, and have an excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Google G-suite and general computer operations.
  • Ability to share the gospel and make disciples.
  • You have a visible relationship with Christ.

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE...
  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
  • At least two years of case management experience
  • Experience case managing in a social service organization.
