The Digital Experience Manager leads the strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of the university's digital ecosystem, with primary responsibility for the institutional website and related digital channels. This role ensures a user-centered, accessible, and high-performing web experience by guiding UX strategy, overseeing content and design standards, and managing a decentralized CMS environment across colleges and departments.
At the direction of the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications, the manager aligns digital initiatives with institutional priorities, drives cohesive messaging across channels, and uses data and user insights to inform decision-making. In partnership with campus stakeholders, ITS, and external vendors, this role also oversees digital content strategy, mentors and leads the work of the Digital Copywriter, and ensures the integrity and effectiveness of all digital assets.
Job Duties
Responsibility Area: Lead Website & Digital Experience Management Duties:
  • Oversee the university's primary website and key sub-sites for top-level pages
  • Curating strategic navigation, overall structure, entire content plans, and continuous monitoring for improvements
  • Manage CMS governance, frameworks, and a decentralized content model across campus
  • Project manage and lead high level university digital initiatives on a cyclical basis; such as program page updates, annual content integration, digital advertising projects, and more as directed by supervisor

  • Lead user research, develop personas and journey maps.
  • Champion accessible, inclusive design to enhance the overall user experience.
