About the job
In this role, you will drive end-to-end real estate and project delivery by translating strategy into execution while maintaining rigorous governance, financial discipline, and stakeholder alignment. In close collaboration with real estate and workplace services (REWS) partners, you will co-create site strategies, evaluates options, prepares decision-making documentation, and directs technical due diligence, test fits, and procurement strategies aligned with Google procurement organization (GPO) policies.
You will own the master schedule, project budget, and work breakdown structure (WBS) compliance-justifying cost benchmark variations, driving spend approvals, and transparently managing risks with quantified cost and schedule impacts. Overseeing the full design and construction lifecycle, you will establish project briefs, manages scope and design quality, leads weekly project meetings, and conducts site walks to monitor progress, quality, and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards. Additionally, you will manage contract terms, evaluate proposed changes, enforce compliance, and maintain accurate system reporting. Throughout every phase, you will cultivate strong cross-functional relationships across regional teams, Centers of Excellence, and specialty partners to ensure total transparency, milestone alignment, and successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Direct full lifecycle real estate projects-including design, scheduling, budgeting, and construction-while driving multi-year market master planning and portfolio strategy.
  • Partner across teams and leadership to align business goals, resolve complex real estate challenges, drive consensus, and maintain clear project communications.
  • Negotiate resources and manage vendor relationships through rigorous request for proposal (RFP) processes, ensuring adherence to Google's standards, processes, and budget controls.
  • Support property acquisitions, entitlements, and transaction processes aligned with overarching corporate real estate strategy.
  • Deliver tenant improvements and build-to-suit spaces that reflect and reinforce organizational cultural values.
