Job description

About Zero Homes
Our mission is to rebuild American communities through healthy, affordable homes.
At Zero Homes, we operate on a simple premise: when you make contractors successful, homeowners win. The current home services industry is fragmented, complex, and opaque, which is frustrating for homeowners and exhausting for contractors. We are changing this by building a home upgrade marketplace that enables a simple, central, transparent process for homeowners and contractors to complete projects.
Through our platform we handle design, quoting, procurement, and customer service, allowing our contractor network to focus on what they do best and make them money: delivering projects. For homeowners, this delivers a predictable, high-quality, and transparent experience-transforming home upgrades from a source of anxiety into a seamless experience. Our vision is to create a world where homeowners and contractors in all 50 states can leverage our platform to execute thousands of projects every week within the next 36 months.
We work by a clear set of values:
  • Be a "can kid," not a "can't kid": We own our outcomes and go to extraordinary lengths to solve problems.
  • Go fast, be clear: Speed is our advantage, and we sweat the details to deliver an extraordinary customer experience.
  • Customer & Contractor Obsessed: We have a deep, personal understanding of the work to be done. We stay curious about our contractors' craft and the stories of our homeowners.
  • Win, as a team: We are building an iconic business that will reinvent the industry, and will do so together.

If you are ready to build a world-class consumer experience that genuinely rebuilds American communities, come build with us.
About the Role & Your Impact
You own how homeowners find Zero Homes. As our Growth Marketing Manager, based in our Denver office and reporting to the Director of Marketing & Growth, you will run paid media as a system with our agency partners, and you will own SEO end to end: search demand strategy, technical and on-page SEO, our hyperlocal landing system, local search and map-pack ranking across every market, and how we show up in AI answers on ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews.
You will also lead expansion into the surfaces we do not run yet, connected TV, programmatic, Reddit, TikTok, and the creator and community channels that compound alongside paid. Growth makes us findable. In your first 90 days, success looks like a fixed and measured search foundation, a 12-month demand map feeding the content plan, our local search ranking live and instrumented in every market, and a additional acquisition surfaces running beyond Meta and Google. From there you are measured on blended CAC by market, qualified projects created, and organic share of acquisition.
What You'll Do
  • Paid capture and paid generation. Convert in-market homeowners on Meta and Google today, and build category awareness across CTV, programmatic, Reddit, and TikTok so tomorrow's pipeline outgrows today's.
  • Lead quality, not just lead volume. Tune audiences, creative, and bidding to qualified projects and downstream revenue, and push past lead capture to influence pipeline velocity and close rate.
  • The always-on engine. Audience architecture, bidding, creative cadence, geo and utility-program segmentation, and budget pacing that keeps CAC predictable across markets.
  • The performance-creative loop with our creative agency: brief, ship, test, and document a pipeline of static, motion, and video ads. Performance creative is yours. Brand films, homeowner story video, and podcast belong to Brand & Content, and you amplify them.
  • SEO, end to end. Keyword and search demand strategy by market and job type, technical SEO (crawl and index health, site architecture, internal linking, schema, Core Web Vitals) with our engineers, on-page optimization of everything we publish, link acquisition, and the reporting that proves it is working.
  • Our hyperlocal landing system. City, neighborhood, utility, and program pages, templated and expanded so every market has organic and paid surface area to convert on. These are systems work, so the templated page copy is yours to write.
  • Local search and map-pack ranking across every market, including citations, map-pack position, and local schema on our Google Business Profile listings, one of the most leveraged organic surfaces in a local, high-consideration purchase. Review responses and the words on the profiles themselves sit with our Social & Community Manager: you move the ranking, they own what the listing says and how reviews get answered.
  • AI and LLM discovery. Whether Zero gets cited when a homeowner asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google's AI Overviews what to do about their furnace, and the entity, structured data, and on-page work that makes it happen. Brand & Content writes the substance worth citing, you make sure it gets cited.
  • Conversion, with Product Marketing. Partner on landing-page and quote-flow optimization, where they own the message and you own the traffic and the test design.

What You Bring
  • 5-8 years in Growth, Performance, or Paid Acquisition owning Meta and Google budgets, ideally in considered-purchase B2C. Climate, home services, or the trades is a major plus.
  • Built paid acquisition as a system (audience infrastructure, creative pipeline, testing cadence, geo segmentation, attribution), not just run campaigns.
  • Owned SEO in-house, hands on keyboard, across technical, on-page, and local. You can point to a site you diagnosed and fixed, a page system you built, and a non-brand organic footprint you grew.
  • Local search depth: Google Business Profile ranking at multi-market scale, citations, map pack, and local schema.
  • Range across paid and unpaid: you have grown an audience through organic search, local, creator, community, or earned channels, and you know when each channel earns its keep.
  • Experimentation rigor: you can walk us through one test end to end, including how you designed it, what you held constant, and what you did with the answer.
  • Track record on both capture and awareness KPIs, blended CAC reduction, branded-search or aided-awareness lift in a target geo, or channel diversification across surfaces.
  • AI-enabled yourself to move fast across any stack. Ours: HubSpot, PostHog, Storyblok, Linear, Claude/Cowork.
  • Bonus points: programmatic SEO at scale, AI/LLM discovery work (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity), CTV or programmatic buying, high-AOV B2C where conversion takes weeks, home services, energy, construction tech, or the trades.

$120,000 - $185,000 a year
- Equity
- Medical, Dental, and Vision
- 4 Weeks PTO + unlimited sick days
- Primarily an in-office role, with a flexible schedule
- Workstation stipend
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience. This role also includes meaningful equity compensation so successful candidates can participate in our company's accelerating growth.
Zero Homes is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible experience for all candidates. We encourage you to apply even if you believe that you do not meet all of the above criteria!
