Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in telecommunications at carrier scale working with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer2/3 routers, and data services.
  • Experience planning/leading network deployments and creating deployment packages and Methods of Procedures (MOP).
  • Experience planning and coordinating with field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, or vendors in a telecommunications working environment.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with network infrastructure, rack and stack, device commissioning, and quality acceptance control.
  • Experience in collaboration across multiple levels and functions, and passionate to engage and influence tactical and strategic decision-making.
  • Scripting and software development skills (e.g., Python or Go).
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time may be needed during project peak time.

Responsibilities
  • Support and participate with Design, Deployment, and Planning teams as needed to deliver end-to-end connectivity for assigned metro sites.

  • Manage the creation and maintenance of network documentation and implementation plans (DPKs), ensuring technical accuracy during deployment activities.
  • Apply scripting and software development skills (e.g., Python) to automate workflows, perform data analysis, and drive process optimizations within your assigned scope.
