Director of Information Technology

Our Mission Statement:Jesuit High School, in its mission as a Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory school, labors to form men engaged in the world who are dedicated to serving God by being open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, loving, and just.

Job outline: TheDirector of Information Technology provides strategic leadership, planning, and operational management for all technology systems and services at Jesuit High School. This position is responsible for ensuring that the school's technology infrastructure, digital learning platforms, data systems, and support services effectively advance Jesuit's mission, are reliable, reliable, secure, and aligned with institutional priorities, while meeting the evolving needs of students, faculty, and staff. This includes providing oversight for IT staff and external vendors, managing technology budgets and procurement, supporting classroom technology integration, and maintaining compliance with data privacy and security standards.

The IT Director oversees and works alongside staff members in the planning, implementation, security, and maintenance of the school's network infrastructure, servers, cloud environments, instructional technologies, administrative systems, and cybersecurity protocols.

The Director reports directly to the President and Principal.

Required Qualifications:

  • Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Jesuit High School
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience working in K-12or higher education environments
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or leadership
  • Experience managing network infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Apple iOS, Google Suite, student information systems (Blackbaud), and learning management systems (Canvas)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Level II Background Screening
