Description
75% Nationwide Travel | 25% Home Market Work
Seeking experienced L2 Data Center Technicians to support Google's Hi-Fiber initiative, a large-scale effort to replace legacy coaxial cabling with fiber infrastructure. This team will serve as a specialized deployment group responsible for launching new project sites, establishing operational processes, and ensuring projects are set up for long-term success during the first 6-8 weeks of deployment.
Technicians will travel to new Google data center locations to help initiate projects and then move on to support additional sites as needed. During gaps between travel assignments, team members will work at a Google data center within their home market. This role is ideal for seasoned data center professionals who can independently contribute from day one and help establish best practices for future project teams.
