Advertised Job Summary
The candidate is responsible for independent and collaborative development, implementation, and analysis of scientific research in the discipline of Biomedicine. Responsibilities include management of all aspects of Biomedicine. The candidate will also be responsible for design and perform lab experiments, data analysis; preparation of written reports and manuscripts as well as oral presentations; and mentoring graduate students and undergraduates in the laboratory.
Required Education and Experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Chemical biology and medicinal chemistry with expertise in computer modeling and mutagenesis; and/or Pharmacology with expertise in PD/PK and biochemical analysis; and/or Structural biology with expertise in crystallography or cryoEM.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Assimilate information, reason, and communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
• Participate in University and community activities, especially as they may relate to the responsibility to render service in the academic community.
• Perform research or other creative activity that contributes significantly to the academic field.
• Plan, organize, conduct meetings, and perform all tasks necessary for carrying out normal administrative duties.
• English Proficiency and excellent written and oral communication skills
