We are currently seeking a Donation Center Attendant who has a passion for serving others and making a difference. We serve our community by providing employment development services and placement assistance for employment. Our programs are supported with profits generated through the sale of donated goods in our Retail Stores.

Under the general supervision of the Donation Centers Manager, a trainer or another designee, is responsible for customer service, facility security and maintenance, greeting and assisting donors, breakdown of donations and maintenance of accurate donor records. Also, may be responsible for covering work shifts and working at different donation sites as needed which are regularly permanently assigned, or closer to the team member's home.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensures 100% donor and customer delight.
  • Greets donors in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner within 10 seconds; unloads donations from vehicles, offer tax receipts and maintain accurate daily counts of donations.
  • Sorts donations and secure items to be transported to stores and warehouse.
  • Keeps a record of donations.
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies in an efficient manner. Responsible to secure and appropriately use those supplies.
  • Adheres to all AGI personnel policies and procedures; follows good safety and security practices, including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the operations leadership team and/or risk management.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, regardless of weather and conditions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Read, write, and communicate verbally and perform basic math skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Open availability is needed.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions with or without accommodation
  • Must have reliable means of transportation. and a valid driver's license
  • Drug screen and background check are required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to bend, reach and stand for extensive periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
