Job description

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for motivated, team-building individuals to fill a Full Time Custodial Services Worker. 
$17.00 an hour. FANTASTIC First Shift hours: Monday - Friday 5:30am-2:00pm

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Safely operate power equipment for custodial maintenance.
  • Keep store, plant, offices clean and all trash removed as needed.
  • Assist in keeping aisles free and clear of hazards.
  • Assist in training employees on cleaning practices as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Ensure safety protocol is followed and safety equipment is properly used.

  • Do you have a valid Michigan drivers license? It's required.
  • Are you willing and able to drive to our 17 locations across Mid Michigan in a company vehicle as required? 
  • Are you able to pass a drug/alcohol test?
  • Previous buffing and waxing experience highly desirable.
  • This is a physical job requiring good mobility, and the ability to stand and walk, climb, bend, kneel, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Can you reach, bend or stoop?
  • Are you able to stand six to eight hours a day?
  • Are you able to recognize, comprehend all instructions and warnings of the SDS labeling system?
