Goodwill Retail Position

Goodwill's mission is to transform the lives of individuals with disabilities and other barriers through pathways to independence and the power of work.

Department: Retail

Reports To: Store Lead / Assistant Store Lead / Retail Supervisor

Job Type: Hourly

Pay: $11/hr

Summary: Help process and sell donated goods in a fast-paced retail store. You'll sort, price, stock merchandise, keep the store clean and organized, and provide great customer service.

What You'll Do
  • Greet donors and customers; provide friendly, helpful service
  • Receive and unload donations; provide receipt
  • Sort and inspect items to determine sellability
  • Price merchandise and prepare items for the sales floor
  • Stock shelves, racks, and displays to meet daily goal
  • Operate the cash register and complete purchases
  • Keep sales floor, fitting rooms, and work areas clean and organized
  • Assist with loading/unloading deliveries as needed
What We're Looking For
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Basic math skills and comfort using a register
  • Organized and able to multitask in a busy environment
  • Retail experience is helpful, but not required
Physical Requirements
  • Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • Lift and carry up to 30 lbs regularly
  • Perform repetitive tasks and use hands/fingers for register and sorting
Work Environment

Retail store setting with moderate noise; active, hands-on role.
