Job description

To act as a key advisor to executive leadership, including but not limited to the CEO, CFO, COO, and CPO, shaping and advancing the organization’s data strategy to enable informed, enterprise-wide decision making. By collaborating across departments, this role transforms business requirements into automated, intuitive reporting and analytics solutions. Through the delivery of impactful insights and the promotion of data best practices, the position drives operational excellence and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. This position reports to the Vice President of Technology, who evaluates performance annually.

Compensation:

$80,000


Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of enterprise BI data models, semantic layers, and standardized KPI definitions
  • Establish and enforce Power BI standards, including naming conventions, performance optimization, and data governance practices
  • Translate complex data analysis into clear, actionable insights and executive-level recommendations
  • Utilize embedded AI and machine learning capabilities within BI tools to deliver predictive analytics, anomaly detection, automated alerts, and natural language query solutions
  • Collaborate with IT to design, enhance, and optimize data warehouse architecture and performance
  • Present analytical findings and strategic insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Power BI, SQL, and analytics best practices
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, business, mathematics, or a related field
  • Two years of experience delivering business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft BI stack
  • Two years of hands-on experience writing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL queries
  • Experience with cloud architecture or administration is preferred
  • Proficient in designing, developing, and delivering data visualizations and reports, preferably in Power BI
  • Experience leveraging generative AI tools to enhance SQL development, Python scripting, and technical documentation
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and provide proof of insurance to travel to different job sites
