Job description

Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking a Finish Operator who will be responsible for processing plastic parts from the molding area, as well as, assisting department lead in breakdown and operation of injection molding machines. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with overtime when required.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Interact with Department Lead to get work assignment priorities and notify when necessary to maintain adequate supply of components
  • Unload plastic parts discharged from injection mold machines
  • Load plastic parts into de-flashing machine to remove rough edges, unload machine, put finished parts into boxes, label accordingly, and transport finished boxes to inventory
  • Provide assistance if necessary to other molding or assembly operations
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
  • Perform other duties as needed

Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience with plastic injection molding is preferred, but not required
  • Must possess solid mechanical aptitude and understanding
  • Must have the ability to follow work instructions and print specifications
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while paying a high attention to detail
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination, be comfortable with frequent bending, and be able to lift up to 30 pounds
