This unit provides support to administrators, coaches, staff members and student-athletes in order to provide and promote a premier intercollegiate athletic program for The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Department of Athletics is a highly visible public relations arm of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with statewide, national and international recognition.
Position Summary
Assist golfers and golf shop staff which can include checking in players, retail services, cart staging, tending to the practice range and assisting with course needs.
Must have a valid NC driver's license or the ability to obtain one on or prior to the start date of hire.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Management Preferences
Must be able to work weekends
Staff management experience
Good customer service
Inventory experience as it relates to a retail operation
Special Physical/Mental Requirements
Ability to move up to 25lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
