Ashwood Golf Course - Guest Services Staff


Summary

Responsible for a variety of tasks related to the cart fleet, cart barn, driving range and in the golf shop.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Setup golf cart fleet and driving range areas before our guests arrive. Make sure all areas are clean and stocked with necessary supplies at all times.
  • Insure that all arriving guests are properly greeted, questions answered and directions given.
  • Properly set up the driving range and keep it functioning at all times.
  • Daily Golf Cart proceedures:  Stage, Clean, Charge, Maintain, and Secure the electric cart fleet constantly.
  • Maintain a clean and well organized clubhouse area
  • Constant communication with the Starter and Player Assistants.
  • Insure that all departing guests are properly greeted, questions answered, directions given and thanked for visiting the facility.
  • Keep all areas clean and well organized.
  • Perform all required opening & closing procedures and security of the owner's assets.
  • Perform other duties as requested by WGP Corporate / Operations Manager / Starter & Greeter.

Requirements

  • One year prior work experience, golf course experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Exceptional grooming habits, maintaining clean and complete uniform as designated by Management
  • Required to be available for work on all major holidays.
  • Must regularly lift and move up to 65 pounds

Physical, Environmental, Cognitive and Social Requirements:

  • Sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, grasping: stand for long periods of time, sometimes outdoors exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions (hot and cold) and moderate to loud noise level.
  • Frequently required to stoop, bend, crouch, and squat climb, kneel, in and out of golf carts, and to twist at the neck and waist, reach above and below shoulder level, push and pull when retrieving, storing and moving golf bags; use dominate hand and fingers to feel and grasp, push and pull and for find manipulation to detail carts, clean clubs and use two-way radios.
